Sharing after the wedding
Bring your wedding photos together, for memories to share with your parents
Gather wedding photos from phones and messages and choose moments to enjoy with your parents. Follow the steps from organizing files to inviting family and keeping originals.
Bring your wedding photos together
Gather the files you have received
Keep photos from phones, messages and your photographer under one folder. You can download the guest photos collected in Snap Wedding and keep them there too. Preserve the original files separately.
Review the day by time and scene
Use folders with clear names, such as preparations, ceremony, family and friends. Snap Wedding can sort guest photos by capture time, though missing time information or incorrect device clocks can change the order.
Choose photos to enjoy with your parents
Start with family, relatives and group photographs. If you want to share only a few photos, select and download those files, then send them separately.
Guest uploads and family viewing
- Guest uploads
- Guests can enter a name and upload without an account or app. This link alone does not let them see other guests’ photos.
- Family viewing
- Family members can sign in with their own accounts to view photos and videos in albums they have been invited to. Member invitations are available on Standard and Premium.
Making an album public enables guest uploads. It does not make the collected photos visible to all guests.
Invite family and friends
Choose an album
Open the album you want to share and go to Members.
Enable the invitation link
Turn on the invitation link and copy it. Invitations are managed separately for each album.
Send the invitation link
Send it to the family or friends who should see the photos. This is different from the guest upload link.
Manage invitations and members
- You can turn off the invitation link when you have finished inviting people.
- Removing a member ends their access to that album.
- Removing a member does not delete files they have already downloaded to their device.
Keep originals separately from the shared album
After sharing photos with family, save a separate copy of your originals too.
- Download photos and videos before your plan’s storage deadline. Family invitations do not extend that period.
- Save originals on a computer or external drive and keep another copy in a separate location, such as a different cloud service.
- Open a few photos and videos and check that you have not missed any downloads.
- Use copies when selecting or editing, so the original files stay intact.
